In today’s technological era many executives wrongly believe that a physical presence at industry events is a practice of the past no longer needed.
Besides the precious information gathered by attending presentations, working sessions and other discussions proposed during conferences, the added value of a conference also resides in the extensive web of connections woven during the event. Those hallway rumors and other information gathered during conferences should not be underestimated too.
AIRSOURCE PARTNERS' CONTRIBUTION
Admittedly, nothing replaces the physical presence of company representatives to a conference. However several factors (like budget limitations, shortage of staff, other urgent business priorities or bad previous experiences) can however push a company to reconsider its in-person participation to an event or limit the number of events to attend thus limiting the impact of its marketing strategy.
Airsource Partners brings an alternative to players of the air transport industry wishing to expand their presence and visibility further in the industry by representing them at selected conferences and other industry events.
PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
Airsource Partners’ proposed approach comprises of several steps.
Conference Selection
Airsource Partners helps you select the most appropriate conference(s) to attend throughout the year. The selection of a conference can be done on the basis of geography or the theme of the conference depending on the goals assigned to the participation to the conference(s).
Unless otherwise agreed between Airsource Partners and the airline, this phase is conducted via emails and telephone communications.
Pre-conference Preparation
During this phase Airsource Partners assists the company in the definition of the most appropriate form of representation at the selected conference(s) on the basis of the main objective assigned by the company to their participation to the conference (develop sales leads, announce new products, obtain information on a new market, etc..).
Airsource Partners’ involvement can be limited to one industry event in particular or cover a selection of industry events over a certain period of time in conjunction with the marketing strategy defined by the company.
Conference Attendance
Airsource Partners attends the selected conference. Agenda permitting, Airsource Partners’ representatives will attend all presentations, working sessions and other discussions scheduled throughout the conference. In case of agenda or priority conflicts Airsource Partners and the company jointly decide which session(s) must be attended in priority.
Airsource Partners also attends all other social or professional activities and events scheduled throughout the conference (company visits, evening events, gala dinners, pre or post conferences social excursions,..).
Post-Conference Deliverables
The following information is sent to the company following the conference:
- Summary report including conference details (agenda, presentations, list of attendees,..) and a global evaluation of the conference (overall impression, organization, value of presentations, efficiency of networking sessions, investment to be repeated or not, …)
