The issue at stake:
Airline sales representatives and GSAs issue net airfare contracts on frequent basis in various countries and territories. These contracts need to be uploaded and distributed in a speedy and reliable manner into the GDS and ATPCO.
Airsource Partners is partnering with Scotland-based service provider Volaro to provide airlines with a proven and cost-effective response to their needs.
Project Description
A unique and innovative solution to direct fare loading and distribution proposed by Scotland-based Volaro.
Airline sales representatives and GSAs issue net airfare contracts on frequent basis in various countries and territories. These contracts need to be uploaded and distributed in a speedy and reliable manner into the GDS and ATPCO.
The proposed solution: Volaro’s automated service takes these net airfare contracts in whatever format they are initially issued (excel, pdf, word, csv, etc…). Volaro's proprietary software then reads the contracts and uploads the fares into the target system, i.e. a GDS or ATPCO, while distributing them to the agents/markets required by airlines.
The expected benefits:
Due to the high level of automation of the process, the fares are available for sale within hours of receipt, thus improving turnaround, delivering speed to market, enhancing competitive advantage, etc...
